The Tribute Communities Centre is Oshawa and Durham Region's premier sports and entertainment facility. Home to the five-time Memorial Cup champion Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League, and the site of international, national, and provincial level sporting events, and community events and recreation; the Tribute Communities Centre's stage has been graced by the likes of Elton John, Jason Aldean, and Jerry Seinfeld to name a few. Winner of Canadian Venue of the Year, and consistently recognized by industry publications Pollstar and VenuesNow as an international and national top stop, the Tribute Communities Centre forms one of the foundations for and is a catalyst of downtown and municipal growth and prosperity, and where our passionate and dedicated team turns events into experiences for all of Durham Region and beyond.

  • Inaugural venue to launch annual Big Ticket Contest (Key to the GMC/TCC) averaging more than 15,000 entries each year since 2009 to assist in building our Backstage Pass Cyber Club to more than 60,000 subscribed members

  • Manage and facilitate internal recreational hockey league (Durham Central Adult Hockey League) hosting 38 teams in the winter and 98 teams in the summer months

  • Two ice pads in the Tribute Communities Centre (main pad is flexible in seating and accommodates events for capacities above and the secondary rink is a practice/spectator rink)
