Culinary Innovation Summit
Each year, a group of Spectra’s talented chefs and front-of-house managers attend our exclusive Culinary Innovation Summit. After several days of knowledge exchange with subject matter experts and product innovation showcases, teams compete?to create the next GREAT?food experience for fans and guests at Spectra’s arenas, convention centers, stadiums, performing arts centers?, and more. A panel of distinguished industry judges tastes each team’s catering dish, concessions item, and signature cocktail, and the winning team takes home the coveted “Knifey Awad” and a full year of bragging rights.
Sports Management Scholarship
Full-time Spectra team members looking to further their education and professional development are eligible to receive a scholarship of up to $10,000 upon acceptance into Temple University’s online Executive Master of Science in Sport Business Program (EMSSB) through their School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM).
Spectra has also expanded its company-wide internship and job recruitment program for current STHM students to gain real-life experience and prepare for a career in the sports and entertainment industry.
Virtual Learning Series
The “Road to Success” Virtual Learning Series is an opportunity for Spectra team members to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to grow in their careers. Quarterly training workshops include topics such as: building a culture of accountability, multi-generational communications, and #IamRemarkable - a Google initiative that empowers women and other underrepresented groups to self-promote in the workplace.
